Privacy Policy

1. Controller

AXE Corporation (액스코퍼레이션 주식회사), Business Registration No. 366-86-03798, 3F #302-A, 55 Gangnam-daero 47-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea, operates Layer and is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

Account data. Name and email address, provided directly or through Microsoft sign-in when your organization uses SSO.

Customer content. Documents and related material you upload to share.

Viewer analytics. When a shared link is opened we record technical data about the visit: browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP address, and section-level reading activity (which sections were viewed and for how long). If the sender restricts a link to identified recipients, the viewer's email address is recorded with the visit and shown to the document owner.

Billing data. Payments are processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. We receive subscription status and invoice metadata; we do not store card numbers.

Cookies. First-party cookies only, for sign-in sessions, preferences, and recognizing returning viewers of shared links. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, except the Meta Pixel on the advertising landing pages described in section 3.

3. Advertising measurement on landing pages (Meta Pixel)

A publisher may use one of its shared links — a public link, or a link that asks for your contact details before showing the document — as the landing page of its own online advertising. Only on such links, and only after the link has been explicitly enabled for it, the page loads the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.: on the viewer page and, for a link that asks for your contact details, also on its first screen. The pixel is never loaded on recipient-specific or allow-listed links, inside the document frame, on an entry form shown again after an input error, on the contact form for expressing interest, or on the follow-up page shown after you express interest.

  • Collected: the page address and the referring page, the events “page viewed” and “interest submitted”, browser and device information, IP address, and Meta cookie identifiers (_fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from a Meta ad).
  • Form input: Layer does not pass your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into a form — including the contact details you enter to open a document — to the pixel, and the page switches off Meta’s automatic form matching for the pixel before it starts. The pixel is software provided by Meta and runs on the page, so these settings rely on Meta honoring them.
  • Purpose: measuring the performance of the publisher’s ads and showing its ads to relevant audiences.
  • Retention: Meta’s cookies stay in your browser for up to 90 days. Meta processes the data it receives under its own privacy policy.
  • Transfer abroad: the data is sent directly from your browser to the servers of Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States) and its affiliates when the page loads or the event occurs.
  • How to refuse: if your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, the page does not load the pixel at all. A content blocker that blocks connect.facebook.net also stops it from loading. The ad preferences in your Meta account limit how Meta uses the data for ads, but do not stop the page from sending it. Refusing does not limit your access to the document.

행태정보의 수집·이용·제공 및 거부 방법. 발행자가 온라인 광고의 도착 페이지로 지정한 공개 링크 또는 열람 전에 연락처를 입력받는 링크에 한해, 뷰어 화면(연락처를 입력받는 링크는 그 첫 화면 포함)이 Meta Platforms, Inc.의 Meta 픽셀을 불러옵니다. 수신자 전용 링크·명단 지정 링크·문서 본문 프레임·입력 오류로 다시 표시한 입력 화면·관심 등록 연락처 화면·관심 접수 뒤 진행 화면에는 불러오지 않습니다. 수집 항목은 페이지 주소와 이전 페이지 주소, 페이지 조회·관심 접수 완료 이벤트, 브라우저·기기 정보, IP 주소, Meta 쿠키 식별자(_fbp, 광고 클릭으로 들어온 경우 _fbc)입니다. 이름·이메일·전화번호 등 입력하신 정보(열람 전에 입력하신 연락처 포함)는 Layer 가 픽셀에 넘기지 않으며, 픽셀이 시작되기 전에 Meta 의 자동 폼 매칭을 끕니다 (픽셀은 페이지에서 실행되는 Meta 의 소프트웨어이므로 이 설정은 Meta 가 이를 따르는 것을 전제로 합니다). 목적은 발행자 광고의 성과 측정과 관련 이용자 대상 광고 노출입니다. Meta 쿠키는 브라우저에 최대 90일 보관되고, Meta 가 받은 정보는 Meta 의 개인정보처리방침에 따라 처리됩니다. 정보는 페이지를 열거나 이벤트가 발생할 때 이용자의 브라우저에서 Meta(미국 Meta Platforms, Inc. 및 계열사) 서버로 직접 전송됩니다(국외 이전). 거부 방법: 브라우저가 GPC(Global Privacy Control) 신호를 보내면 이 페이지는 픽셀을 아예 불러오지 않습니다. connect.facebook.net 을 막는 콘텐츠 차단 도구를 써도 불러오지 않습니다. Meta 계정의 광고 기본 설정은 Meta 의 광고 활용을 제한할 뿐 전송 자체를 막지는 않습니다. 거부해도 문서 열람에는 제한이 없습니다. 문의: [email protected].

4. How we use data

To provide the Service — including showing engagement analytics to the document owner — to secure and improve it, to bill subscriptions, and to respond to support requests. We do not sell personal data.

5. Sharing

We share data only with processors needed to run the Service: Microsoft (authentication for SSO workspaces), Paddle (payments), and our hosting infrastructure. On the advertising landing pages described in section 3, Meta Platforms receives the data listed there directly from your browser. Each processes data under its own contractual obligations.

6. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Viewer analytics are kept as long as the related document or link exists. When you delete content or your account, associated data is removed within 30 days, except where law requires longer retention.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or object to its processing, by contacting [email protected]. We honor rights granted under the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and other laws applicable to you. If you received a shared link and want your viewing records removed, contact us or the sender.

8. International use

The Service is operated from the Republic of Korea. By using it you understand that data is processed there.

9. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be announced in the Service or by email before they take effect.
